Is there a war against terrorism? Is there in fact a global campaign of terror that we need to combat? Have the ideals of any so-called terrorist organisation been addressed, and do we actually know why they feel justified in fighting the actions of western governments?.
It is a fact that the vast majority of the major powers in the world made the decision not to join an international campaign against both Afghanistan and then Iraq, with the United States and United Kingdom leading the way in what most believe to be an unjustified war against a foreign government.
The old adage that one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter has never held so much truth as it does today.
Are the Palestinians terrorists, a displaced nation with no country or home of their own fighting for the recognition of a nation denied to them. Are we really to expect them to accept the small parcel of land given to them when they know that the borders are not their own and can be violated at a moments notice by the people forced by international pressure to give it to them in the first palce.
Do we really expect the collective nations of the Arab world to accept the domination and whispered leadership of the United States of America, and do we expect idealistic and proud people to lie down and greet invading troops.
In the 1930's a despotic dictator considered an Arian race to be the true and dominant people of the earth and led a viscious and violent campaign of war and genocide to bring his perverted dreams to fruition.
Did the people of Europe stand back and accept these ideals as the banner of world truth... No they did not!!! instead a long and costly war was fought to drive back the invaders.
Were your parents and grandparents terrorists? Were the Airforces of Great Britain and the United States terrorists when they flew thousands of bombers over German towns every night killing even more thoudsands of innocent civillians. Do we consider them to be that, or do we believe they were doing what had to be done for the freedom of the world.
No act of terror is acceptable, no murder of the innocent should be tollerated, Nowhere should any single person live in fear of terror and no advocate or campaigner of terror should be able to escape the punishment of justice.
But let us first understand what these people believe is being done against them, let us first learn the wants and desires of these people before we brand nations terrorists.
The United States is a fierce apponent of communism; but do they invade China or Korea, of course not, because they could not.
If all the muslim nations want is to be left alone, then why is it so difficult to do just that. Is it just that economic forces mean that it would be more costly to western nations to do just that?
It is though the only action that has not been tried, they have never just been left alone to govern their own lives their own way.
No force on Earth will ever be able to combat religious belief, and should they be allowed to try?
For hundreds of years, under the banner of christ and church the christian religion has pillaged the face of the Earth leaving no stone or nation unspoilt or unmolested. In the name of God the catholic church murdered millions of people,(5 million women alone, under the direction of the Malleus Maleficarum).
Who are the terrorists??
I just believe that there is more to it all than 'evil muslim terrorists trying to take my freedom away'.
I am not a Muslim or a Palestinian but an christian African American woman married to a jewish man who believes that our own people are more responsible for the woes of the world than they would be prepared to accept or believe.
