In a Christian social order the clandestine accumulation of unearned wealth by ineffably complex financial manipulations would be considered theft and would result in the offending party being required to repay three or four times the total amount involved or, as an alternative, he might opt to work off the amount as a slave to the offended party.
Gary North in a recent article “The Red/Blue Map vs. Conspiracy Theories” writes about the electoral charade and the surreptitious skullduggery that underlies it. We live with current conspiracies and our history is replete with others. Conspiracies, contrary to current opinion, are pervasive. The Savior was slain by conspiracy.
A spate of articles has recently been written concerning the depletion of world reserves of oil. These articles grant tacit justification to the recent 500% rise in the price of a barrel of oil that follows a 400% increase successfully accomplished some thirty years ago.
I am dubious.
In 1992 F. William Engdahl published a book entitled “A Century of War”. The first edition was published in Germany with an American translation appearing in 1993. Engdahl traces the connection between big banks and big oil. He does it in detail and fleshes it out with contingent events. The book reminded me of G. Edward Griffin’s classic account “The Creature from Jekyll Island”, which I subsequently searched out from my poorly organized library and re-opened.
Engdahl received a degree from Princeton University and did graduate work in economics at the University of Stockholm. In his younger years he lived near the oil fields of East Texas.
The money moguls are interested in oil because its use is universal and if the supply and the price can be controlled the profits can be enormous.
A fraudulent green agenda has been skillfully used to stifle alternative sources of energy and to restrict additional supplies of oil. Engdahl documents insider McGeorge Bundy’s installation as president of the Ford Foundation in 1971 and the allocation of 4 million dollars to conduct a study of energy policy. The study was entitled “A time to Choose: America’s Energy Future”. Published in 1974, it launched a strident attack on nuclear energy while promoting useless alternatives.
The Ford Foundation initiative was supplemented by an even larger effort conducted by another insider Robert O. Anderson of Atlantic Richfield Oil Company. Through the Atlantic Richfield Foundation he funneled “millions of dollars” to “select organizations to target nuclear energy“. This organization was responsible for birthing Friends of the Earth that became a worldwide anti-nuclear force directed by Rockefeller associate Brice LaLonde.
Another group also got in on the act. The Aspen Institute under the direction of Joseph Slater launched “an international organizational offensive against industrial growth and especially nuclear energy, using the auspices (and the money) of the United Nations.” This effort culminated in the June 1972 Stockholm United Nations’ Conference on the Environment and was sheparded by Maurice Strong, an icon in the New World order, a board member of The Aspen Institute, and an oil giant in Canada.
Engdahl writes, “It is indicative of this financial establishment’s overwhelming influence in the American and British media that, during this period, no public outcry was launched to investigate the probable conflict of interest involved in Robert O. Anderson's well-financed anti-nuclear offensive, and the fact that his Atlantic Richfield Oil Co. was one of the major beneficiaries from the 1974 price increase for oil.”
Interestingly, OPEC has been made the designer culprit for high oil prices. Also of note is that contrived wars were used to screen both the current price increase and the shock of 1973 - the Iraq war now and the Yom Kippur invasion of Israel by Egypt and Syria in 1973.
According to Engdahl the seed for the 1973 price increase was planted at a 1971 Bilderberger meeting in Saltsjoebaden, Sweden and the implementation was carried out by Henry Kissinger who engineered the Yom Kippur War and was responsible for overseeing the results.
Since dollars are the standard of exchange for purchasing oil, an increase in the price of oil lends support to the dollar by increasing demand and as an additional benefit to the money moguls a huge number of petro-dollars is funneled into banks in New York and London with additional monies being invested in financing American government deficits.
In a little publicized coup, Lord Jacob Rothschild of the English clan recently acquired a 13.5 billion-dollar interest in the Russian oil giant, Yukos. Henry Kissinger was present when the deal was made. I wrote about this in a previous column.
It seems unlikely that the clandestine oligarchy would be manipulating the supply of oil and denigrating competition if they were facing an impending shortage. What appears more likely is another massive transfer of wealth from those that must use gasoline and fuel oil to those who control it.
F. William Engdahl believes America would never have gotten involved in the First World War had it not been for the easy money created by the creature from Jekyll Island (The Federal Reserve). That probably applies to the Second World War and the subsequent conflicts that filled the Twentieth Century. There are limits to the extent Imperial governments can increase overt taxes but there are no limits on the amount of money that can be created by the Federal Reserve and the array of fractional reserve bankers it supports.
Wars are immensely profitable for those who finance them. During the First World War J. P Morgan & Company was a large beneficiary. As a result of free trade and other economic mistakes, England was broke when she entered the war. Morgan became her agent for the purchase of materials. These materials were purchased with credit extended by the House of Morgan using the organized saving of thousands of Americans. When the war was over England owed 4.7 Billion dollars in war debt. At the time this was a staggering sum. Nevertheless they had placed orders with Morgan totaling 20 billion dollars. Along with enjoying the lion’s share of 21 billion dollars worth of Liberty loans and bonds that the American public purchased in support of the war, Morgan received a 2% commission on most of the English purchases.
For the British, America’s entry into the war was crucial. After America was manipulated into the war and the victory was secured, in a scheme that has been subsequently repeated, Morgan and Company quietly shifted their British loans over to the United States treasury making American taxpayers responsible for England’s debts.
History records an inordinately close relationship between England and America. The roots of this relationship are entwined with the English House of Rothschild. G. Edward Griffin writes of the force behind the creation of our Federal Reserve system, “The Rothschilds, therefore, were not merely investors nor just an important power. They were the power behind the Bank of the United States”. This is the massive sway that bends the world’s financial systems to its will!
The mysterious Rothschild banking cartel appears to constitute the heart of the hegemonic monster. These are the men that control the money that is the blood of corporate power. Corporations manipulate the political process with generous donations to politicians. In return they receive lucrative benefits derived from government programs. Citizens of the nations of the world are slaves to this system and as the social order becomes increasingly secular, gracious living will wane, mercy and altruism will disappear, harder work will be required, suffering will increase, freedom will be lost and the world will become one big pre-Civil War Southern Plantation.
In The Creature from Jekyll Island, Griffin outlines the reasoning behind the Rothschild agenda:
1. War is the ultimate discipline to any government. If it can successfully meet the challenge of war, it will survive. If it cannot, it will perish. All else is secondary. The sanctity of its laws, the prosperity of its citizens, and the solvency of its treasury will be quickly sacrificed by any government in its primal act of self-survival.
2. All that is necessary, therefore, to insure that a government will maintain or expand its debt is to involve it in war or the threat of war. The greater the threat and the more destructive the war, the greater the need for debt.
3. To involve a country in war or the threat of war, it will be necessary for it to have enemies with credible military might. If such enemies already exist, all the better. If they exist but lack military strength, it will be necessary to provide them the money to build their war machine. If an enemy does not exit at all then it will be necessary to create one by financing the rise of a hostile regime.
4. The ultimate obstacle is a government which declines to finance its wars through debt. Although this seldom happens, when it does, it will be necessary to encourage internal political opposition, insurrection, or revolution to replace that government with one that is more compliant to our will. The assassination of heads of state could play an important role in this process.
5. No nation can be allowed to remain militarily stronger than its adversaries, for that could lead to peace and a reduction of debt. To accomplish this balance of power, it may be necessary to finance both sides of the conflict. Unless one of the combatants is hostile to our interests and, therefore, must be destroyed, neither side should be allowed a decisive victory or defeat. While we must always proclaim the virtues of peace, the unspoken objective is perpetual war.
The coup de grace for these principles when debtor nations are bankrupt, is to shift the debt onto taxpayers allowing the banks without risk to keep receiving usury. This principle was used when the Clinton Administration Secretary Robert Rubin and the International Monetary Fund approved a 53 billion-dollar loan to Mexico. Twenty Billion dollars of this loan was financed by US taxpayers and a substantial amount of the money was paid to his former employer, Goldman Sachs & Co.
A similar scheme was used in South Korea.
Now, for those who hate God’s Laws (that includes most American Christians) it is time to ruminate.
The Kingdom of God is characterized by just weights and measures and by “yeas” that actually mean yes and “nays” that actually mean no. Secrecy is always a sign of dishonesty. When meetings of powerful individuals are held in fancy resorts around the world and the agenda is secret, or when the ultimate beneficiary of massive financial gain is not readily known, conspiracy is usually the reason for the secrecy.
Evil is characterized by the darkness of concealment and evasion of responsibility. Righteousness is transparent. In a free, Democratic Republic the government has an obligation to be open and honest. Shady administrations whose dealings are not open should be impeached by the congress and replaced with leaders that honestly and openly serve both the nation and people.
Attorney General Janet Reno accepted full responsibility for the Waco disaster but her acceptance was confined to rhetoric. Real responsibility involves the penalties appropriate to the deed. Governments that are above the law are tyrannical governments.
Jesus, the One True God, rules over nations and individuals and holds them responsible for their behavior. Like Eve’s husband, Adam, contemporary secular administrations shun responsibility. Legally bound as the only entity able to commit the nation to war, America’s congress has illegally evaded that responsibility by allowing the President unilateral authority. The President evades responsibility by erroneously claiming Iraq poses an imminent danger shifting the responsibility to the “enemy”. The two party system allows responsibility to be shifted to the opposing party. Everyone passes the buck.
The hegemony of messianic rule is even more insidious. It usurps the position of God and the responsibility God requires of his created beings making citizens subject the ruler rather than the Great God Of All Creation.
Corporate structures themselves create an artificial entity between individuals and the God Who created them, partially screening them from responsibility for their actions. They are not Godly structures.
The conspiracy of powerful individuals to exert a pagan tyranny on the world needs to be understood by every American and addressed by our elected representatives.
Each day secular laws are sinking America deeper into the mire of sin and confusion. It is time for the church and its members to return to the righteousness of God’s Laws and to expect the government to do likewise. God seeks dominion over His creation!
